"MAKING THE DIFFERENCE IN QUALITY OF LIFE
I would like to take the
opportunity to introduce my company and the services I provide. In addition, I
would like to present the advantages of the services, and how these services
will benefit your facilities. We are currently providing interim social
workers, activity directors, administrators and interim nurses nationwide.
Through out my letter you will read about our services with emphasis for social
service/activity consultation.
The emphasis during the survey
process continues to be directed towards Quality of Care and Quality of Life. I
believe these two areas go hand in hand. Services I provide as a Social Service
and Activity Consultant provide focus in this area.
As a Consultant and as a Company we
are growing and wish to continue this growth. I am interested in contracting
with all or any of your facilities within your organization, where assistance
may be needed. We currently are providing consultation in Indiana, Ohio,
Michigan, Illinois, Tennessee, Wisconsin, and Texas.
One of the benefits that I include
for Long Term Care Facilities that utilize our services with a contract of at
least Quarterly visits, is one free inservice per year for each of your
facilities, and one free workshop for the Social Service and Activity Directors
in your region. Additionally, I believe there is more continuity through visits
and follow up with getting problems corrected. There is also more
accountability by the social worker/activity professional with input by the
consultants. We are also available over the phone to answer questions and solve
problems as well as an added resource for the professionals. With this in mind,
it is hopeful to decrease deficiencies with focus for the departments to be
survey ready at all times. Another benefit I would like to point out is our low
rates compared to other consultant companies.
We are capable of enhancing the
Social Service and Activity Departments within your facilities, as we recognize
the diverse and specific needs of the geriatric population. Our consultation
can include but is not limited to providing the following: Inservices for all
staff, Documentation Audits, Pre-survey Audits, Behavior Management, Audits of
the Activity Calendar with ideas to enhance the programming. Recommendations
will increase problem solving skills and the productivity of the Departments.
Other areas of focus: Programming and Diversional activities for Special Care
Units designed for residents who suffer from Alzheimer's Disease and other
related disorders, developing Policy and Procedures, Plan of corrections, and
Support Groups along with Marketing strategies for census growth. We are also
available for temporary coverage and orientation training.
